Quest for Immortality

This highly anticipated exhibition features over 230 Egyptian objects and major works from 4500 BCE to 1st century BCE, the artefacts highlight changing Egyptian funerary customs, political intrigues, and the extraordinary skills of artists and craftsmen of the day, whose use of a variety of materials reveal geographical surroundings of royal workshops and artistic fashions of the period.
This collection, which basically emerged in the 19th and 20th centuries, was developedby purchases, donations and new acquisitions from excavations.
