well.. i dun really fancy going there much. but every time i go there with my friends i see lots of expats hanging round. at one point it gave me an impression that these are the places where expat ppl get their girl company. dun get me wrong im not trying to judge anyone. plus i do hang out with expats a lot but some of my friends' friends do date girls from there and do often go there to find one.
perhaps they find it easy . i don't know.

I have to go with Steve and Alvin on this one. These bars don't do much for me either. I'd rather be alone than pay for company. Btw - I have never heard the term Lady Bar. I think Girlie Bar is more universally known.

perhaps i posted question wrongly. wat i meant to ask was "wat do you think bout thsoe places not would you like to go there or not or how would you rather spend your nite?".. some say these are the places they get to know the girlfriends n lovers. so....

aiya. that's your definition of lady bars? I call them rip-off bar. There are lots of such bars along Tanjong Pagar Road, mainly ladies from Philippines. You don't have to look for one, they loiter at entrance and will pull you in.

What do you get from them, you are free to explore their bodies with your hands in exchange for paying their small "special" drink that costs $10 a glass. Of course the drink is non-alcoholic and they finished it in one-shot. You end up paying over $100 just for their drinks. So you left the place with good smelling perfume on your fingers, and that's all if you are not going for the...ahem.....that can be expensive.

Don't get me wrong, I never stepped into one of these bars. I live to that area and these are what I heard from friends who visited out of curiosity. There are much more places in Singapore that offer value for money service compared to that.

Why are you asking for lady bars if you were a lady? There are only two possibilities.........
