haha - its just sharing how i view things. Just hope it makes sense.
I break everything I see into "elements", for categorizing and linking. It makes learning new things easily. A great tool that helps is mind mapping, from Tony Buzan.

Thank you! Glad they appeal to you.
I am sure with some guidance, practice and passion, I am sure you can take great shots too. Everyone has that creative factor in them – a strong desire to create something. Be it the creation be in the form of photography, music, writing etc, it matters not. So I leverage on that and let photography be my creative outlet.

How do I capture my shots? Several things count. 1. Good camera handling skills. 2. Visualize what you want to take. 3. Map your visual of what you want to take with your camera settings. 3. Identify and anticipate the moment / situation. 4. View the moment / situation from different perspective or angles. 5. Then shoot. I think that sums it up. (At a high level)

And yes – it does require a lot of hard work, but also a curious mind to look at a situation with the what if factor. What if I use a different lens, what if I move from where I am standing, what if I slow down my shutter speed etc etc etc.

Hope this makes sense. Sylvia.
